So I am slowly recovering from Dragon Con, I think my body is missing the alcohol, and I know my body clock is waaay off. Some thoughts on Dragon Con:
- I did not take enough photos!
- I did not pose in my costumes for enough photos.
- I did not get to talk to all my friends and see all the people I hoped to see.
I am really sorry I did not pose enough in my costumes, cause looking at the photos I have, and I see that I should have spent more time arranging my costume so you can see it better and my makeup. grrr.
Being back at work is so little fun, grumpy people and no new exciting records to help me over the hump.
Lots of talk about New Orleans every where I turn, and makes me both sad and mad. I have lots of thoughts, and view points but, I actually say nothing about them, as it is not my country, I live here, I pay taxes here, but I do not vote, I am not a citizen, and i hate people critiquing my country.. so I try keep my mouth shut. But, as I do care about the animals being displaced and rendered homeless, I will be donating to the ASPCA, which ever way I can, and also next door to me at work both The Vortex and Psycho Sisters are taking clothing to donate.
I read the graphic novel I bought last night – Kubuki – Metamorphis and it was amazing, it is made me want to do more playing around with words and pictures. I could feel it opening up ideas inside me.
Now off to see a movie – eeeee – 2046!
