So, on Friday I got the results, from al the tests, and the news was mixed, still no idea what is wrong with me, but, starting to find working ideas.
From the CaT scan we got several things though:
a) A small nodule in my lung about a cm big – mostly harmless but it needs to be watched.
b) Calcification along my spine, which could be pressing on the nerves to cause the pain.
From the blood test everything came back normal except my liver, which had unusually high levels, which could mean several things:
a) I drink a huge amount.
b) I take tons of pain pills.
c) I am obese.
d) I have hepatitis or yellow fever.
e) I have liver cancer – most unlikely.
All I could tell him in response to all this is, I don’t drink that much, I don’t smoke, I do not take huge amounts of pain pills, I don’ think I have hep A, B or C and I have been inoculated against yellow fever. So we are left with more tests now to follow up, I go back Thursday and should have another blood test and some pressing on my liver.
So to make life better, on Saturday mdaniel and I went to a Cat Show! It was surreal. First of all it was Easter themed, and so there was an Easter Bunny, bunnies everywhere and some strange Easter Hats. Then there were the cat people. I am a cat person, I like cats, I am not ‘cat people’, that is a special level and I am not there yet, and most likely never will be.
The cats were amazing, huge, tiny, fluffy, hairless, huge ears, folded ears, an array of colours and shapes, and all not able to be held or petted as they were show cats. But, the people at theses things sell kittens, adorable $600, kittens!!!!! I got to pet one:
and then it was bought. It was an experience and now I know what these things are like.
